I am so pleased we\u2019re on other side of our Engineers Without Borders (EWB) El Llanito team virtual fundraiser last Wednesday night.
This recording of our event is long, but can skip the first 24 minutes or so of rotating slide show (well, don’t skip all of Elizabeth Dahlen’s great production, you but might not want to watch it loop repeatedly\u2013it features the EWB-SFP team project photos from the 2020 internal grant folders, plus ATDT ones).

Thanks to JR and the Stagecoach band, Stu and Michael for great songs, PP Jay for Talking Bull corporate sponsorship, and John and Jessica for donation of Talking Bull magnum and 750. Auction items were donated by Carol Howell at Bent Creek, and Jacquie Williams-Courtright at Alden Lane.
We also have auction items from generous local restaurants and others: Uncle Yu’s, Cedar Mountain, Eight Bridges, Paxti’s, and Melo’s.
We featured a Topcon video, showcasing their precision positioning and its importance in engineering. It is imperative young engineers understand the power of these technologies.
We followed up with drone aerial photomapping in Nicaragua, contrasted with mules and a chicken.

As some it you know, I finished my 33 career at LLNL on NIF, supporting completion of conventional facilities, then beampath infrastructure, systems engineering, and high-energy-density physics.
