With eighteen years experience in web design/build, programming and training, I bring strong creative skills along with technical expertise to my projects. I focus on the needs of my clients to find the best solutions for the right price. My excellent communication skills put my clients at ease with the process.I have a diverse career in project adminstration, technical writing, systems
analysis and training. I have overseas experience as administrative officer with
the World Health Organization, on an infrastructure project financed by the
Canadian government; worked with Arthur D. Little Systems in developing manual
systems and training programs, as part of an Information Management and Financial
computer system for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Arizona; training program
development and senior analyst with Chevron Corporation using an IBM data base,
Storage And Information Retrieval System (STAIRS). My major
writing project, the "Not Just Nuts and Bolts Cookbook", was published for the
NSPE Auxillary in Livermore, with over 400 hundred copies sold.
About Me
I grew up in rural Saskatchewan. I started college as a
music major, but decided to try journalism instead. I moved to Ottawa, Ontario and graduated from Carleton University. After working for
the Canadian government for a year or so, I took an assignment to Belize. Since moving to the United States, I have become a U.S. citizen and have lived and worked on both coasts and places in between.
